Glad I got this textbook!

I bought just this single book out of the series. Sadly, it's not the text for my Paramedic Class thus why I decided to purchase it. I got it on the Kindle Edition so I could have it on my laptop/ iPAD.
This is the best book I've read so far during my EMS learning. It's easy to read, pages laid out well and has real world applications through each part. Puts everything together to make sense. For me, reading this I felt like it's all good info and doesn't have "filler" content (if you can understand what I'm saying). I'm a very slow reader, so I like detail and knowledge in as few as words as possible.
I plan to buy several more of the series as supplemental books for my Paramedic Studies. Also, the kindle version makes it easy to search a word or phrase and find what you want to look up. Faster than an index and such.
I will GLADLY spend the money for these books! It's nice that they are broken down, so you don't have a 10lb textbook that takes up so much room to carry all the time.

Chances are, if you're looking at this book you probably don't have a choice :)
well laid out useful and focused sections
Diagrams are great. Actual photos are a little weak.
Vocabulary presentation was little soft and the glossary leaves something to be desired. I feel that at the very least if a vocabulary word is highlighted on the page one should be able to find it in the glossary. Basically, "hey this is really important.... and the only page you'll ever be able to find it on again."
If you are simply looking for material for personal leisure this book does provide a very good overall and wide reaching coverage of numerous facets of emergency medicine from plenty of basic anatomy (always handy) to more intricate specifics on actual practice and procedure.
